One of the common problems that frequent travelers face during check-in is providing return ticket or onward ticket to the airlines and  immigration. This is a basic requirement by majority of the countries as many become stricter with their policies.  This is not an issue if you have fixed schedule and itinerary. But for someone like me who doesn’t know which country I will fly from going back to my country or not even knowing when I’m going home usually, this poses as a big issue to me. Unless of course, I am willing (every time) to shell out extra money for cheap return ticket that I won’t use just to have something to show. And here’s why I came up of just creating fake return ticket.

I heard people who use old tickets and edit them through PDF editor or any basic editing software. It’s a cool idea but for a noob like me, this is serious threat to my brain’s equilibrium. This is why I researched for other ways to do it without complicated editing and found this website that helps me for my dummy return ticket problems. So here are the step-by-step instructions on how to create fake flight ticket without editing skill.

Step 1: Click on this link and fill up the necessary information.

fake return ticket

a. Use real flight details such as  flight number, ticket price date and time to make it more authentic. You can use skyscanner for that. You can make up the itinerary number to create fake airline ticket confirmation .

b. Do not use the same airline as your outbound ticket for your dummy ticket for obvious reason that airline can easily check your record to their system.

c. Use a different airport/ origin/ country from your outbound ticket. For example, when I went to Europe, my outbound flight is Manila-Prague via Dubai. I created a fake return ticket that originated from Munich , Germany (not Prague) to Manila via Bangkok. This is because normally round-trip ticket is cheaper and it’s unusual to use a different airline if you’re just going to fly out from the same airport of your destination. So to avoid suspicion, better use a different flight origin.

d. Beware of timezone. Make sure to put correct time zone difference between your country of origin and your destination.

Step 2: Click on “Create Ticket” button at the bottom of the form and save the .zip file.

Step 3: Unzip the .zip file, click on the “returnFlight” folder and then click on the agent.dll.htm which will direct you the html link of the ticket.

Step 4: Just right click to print it. See below dummy ticket example below.

Step 5: Or if you want a soft copy, then just click on “open PDF in preview” after you click on “print”. From PDF preview, you can now save the dummy ticket on your computer or mobile phone.

I have used this website on my trips to Europe, US, Africa and Central America and immigrations and airlines really scrutinized them so I can really recommend that this trick works. I also created rushed fake airline ticket for my cousin and her boyfriend when they flew in from Saigon to Bangkok and the airline won’t let them in without onward tickets. So to the rescue, I used the similar process and in less than 10 minutes I managed to send the fake flight tickets to their emails and they were able to fly.

However, please be reminded that you can not use a dummy ticket for visa application and when using dummy flight ticket, you are at risk of getting caught and you might face possibilities of getting offloaded from your flight or worse. So please use it with caution.

  1. Some really excellent posts on this site, appreciate it for contribution. “A man with a new idea is a crank — until the idea succeeds.” by Mark Twain.

    • Yep! I use it anywhere with no issues. Just make sure you use real flight number and times to make it authentic and avoid using airline as same as what you’re flying with/ you flew in with because they will have access to the database.

    • Hi Tina. I don’t recommend doing this for visa application. The reason why is the embassies can check your flight if it’s valid as part of their due diligence. It’s entirely different when you are just using it to get past through Immigration Office that will only take few minutes versus days to weeks of leaving your documents with embassies. Good luck!

  2. Aloha Christine –

You recommend against using this for visas, so wondering . . . . even with accurate flight info and attention to detail . . . . embassies have access to a passenger database? Or, do they just call up a special contact within the airline and ask directly?

    • Hi Efren – yes. And falsifying documents for visa is one of the biggest pet peeves of embassies and this can cause not only denial of visa but also a ban. A dummy ticket will work best if it’s just for immigration purposes since they will just look at it and they won’t be able to check it with airlines since that’s not time efficient. And which is why, we also recommend not using the same airline as your outbound because the airline (upon check in) will be able to check if you really have a flight with them as your return. Which country are you planning to use this for?

    • I pointed out ways to avoid it. And like I said use it with caution. I have been to over 30 countries and use it 50% of the time. Never had issues. If this is not for you, then no one is forcing you to do this. This is for people who find it inconvenient to buy return ticket every time

  3. It’s good that you managed to help a couple of your friends with this, and that you ofcourse added a disclaimer at the end. I never thought that there’s an easier way to do this cause what I usually do is edit an old ticket the fudge out of it on photoshop then print. hahaha I use those if I want to stay with my friends or family who are leaving and the guards won’t let me in the area before the immigration

  4. Hi Christine! I will be flying to UAE this August. Just want to ask if you have already used this dummy ticket for immigration going to UAE? Do you have any problems with it? Hoping to hear from you.

    • Hi yes – they checked it thoroughly in Dubai but never had issues. I was just transiting though. Good luck!

  5. Thanks for the flight reservation! I got it on time and good to know I don’t have to spend lots of money just to get one. We will definitely get your service again.

  6. Hey Christine im going to jamaica on the 12th of August. once i get there will they accept my fake return ticket and let me through?

    • You can create dummy ticket by accessing the website I have provided. The instruction is already there. Thanks.

  7. Hello what i’m travelling to doha this upcoming october and i need a dummy ticket for return ticket. Is it okay if i put the same airport but different airlines?

  8. Hi, would it be possible to use a dummy ticket from bkk to manila? I’m flying with a friend from MNL to BKK and she will be returning manila alone. I’m planning to use this dummy ticket just for immigration.
